Indium Corporation manufactures a complete line of TACFlux, or Gel Fluxes, which include no-clean, water-wash and RMA based fluxes. Its many uses include: rework and repair of various electronics assemblies & components, SMT component attach (including BGA’s & Flip Chip’s), BGA ball-attach, preform soldering, and virtually any application where a flux is required. Cycle times are not critical as TACFlux may sit for hours with no reflow degradation.
Packaging: TACFlux® 020B is available in 10cc and 30cc syringes or 100g jars, however other packaging can be provided to meet specific requirements.
Cleaning: TACFlux® 020B is designed for no-clean applications. If necessary, the flux can be removed by using a commercially available flux cleaner.
Reflow: Peak reflow temperature should be <260°C in an air or nitrogen atmosphere.
Storage: TACFlux® 020B syringes and cartridges should be stored tip down at 0-30°C. If refrigerated, TACFlux® 020B should be thawed for 4 hours at room temperature before using.
TACFlux® 020B is a no-clean flux formulated for both Sn/Pb and Pb-free soldering. TACFlux® 020B is halogen-free and passes SIR in the unreflowed state.
