This solder research kit was specifically designed for soldering to Nitinol. It contains two fluxes that have proven best for cleaning the Nitinol. Flux #2 is compatible with all types of solders and Flux #3 works best for tin-based alloys. Both should be cleaned thoroughly after reflow.
If you are soldering for electronics, please contact us for alternative fluxes as neither Flux #2 nor Flux #3 is recommended for electronics applications.
